Title: Sport and physical activities in senior population - situation and promotion in Cheb Town The aim of this thesis is to examine what way of life seniors in Cheb prefer, what physical level they achieve and what specific programs and opportunities for leisure activities for this specific group of people in Cheb is organized. Conducted survey is to provide answers to questions primarily related to the level of physical activity of seniors and integration of these activities in their lifestyle and perception and satisfaction wit treir own health and life. Results of this work are the proposals that could help engage more seniors in an active lifestyle and proposals that could be considered by established organizations devoted to work with this specific group of people. Work with Roma children and youth in community centres

The bachelor thesis will deal with the problems connected to the work with the Roma children and youth in the community centres and its specifics. The aim will be to analyse the needs and problems which are the Roma children and youth facing. The bachelor thesis is focused on the possible solutions, mainly through the community centres for children and youth and work of their employees. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis there will be outlined a brief overview of the current situation of the Roma minority in the Czech Republic which is especially focused on the questions connected to the education, upbringing and free time of these young people. The emphasis will be put on the working of the non-profit organizations which are trying to help the Roma living in socially excluded localities in Cheb. The practical part will be focused on the field research in the particular community centres. An experiment, which will try to capture the reasons of visiting these centres by the Roma children and youth, will be performed by using the structured interviews. Another detected area of the bachelor thesis will be the course of their cooperation with the social workers.

The consequence of Czech & German relations for the town of Cheb after the year 1989

In my bachelor thesis I engage in czech and german relations, their progress in the past and in the present as well, and mainly in consequence of these relations for development of the town Cheb after the year 1989. I refer to the belonging of the town to Czech or German nation, in respect of the national structure. Afterwards I focus on projects, which were realized in cooperation with Germany; on german partnership town; on german firms, which have activities in the town Cheb; and finally on cooperation of the schools of Cheb and the german schools. The last chapter is the evaluation of questionnaire, which detects a knowledge of residents of Cheb about cooperation with our neighbours, and their relation to german tourists.
